The Problem:

At its separate business sites with 1,500 employees, MYOB previously had a variety of telephony platforms in use. These disparate platforms were not able to be integrated to work together and they limited the ability of MYOB to move towards the communications collaboration functionality they would require into the future.

The Solution:

To coincide with the development of its new business site in Richmond, Melbourne, where 250 employees work, MYOB decided to move its entire workforce onto a single unified communications platform. Skype for Business was chosen for its ability to seamlessly integrate a variety of communications including telephony, instant messaging, collaboration, meetings and video conferencing.

The Result:

With Skype for Business, MYOB now has a solution that offers functionality far above and beyond the traditional phone systems they previously used. They now have an organisation-wide solution that can easily expand and be supported across multiple sites into the future. The combination of new technology with a new building has offered staff new ways of working, such as collaborating with each other and customers from anywhere – their desk, a meeting room or from home.
