IComm was founded with the aim to provide top notch solutions for our clients. Over the years, that aim has evolved to include that those solutions are custom-designed for each client to provide flexibility, coverage, and scalability to your organisation, and transform it to a productive and collaborative powerhouse environment.
At the centre of all our efforts is a burning focus on cultivating and sustaining a diverse work environment and workforce, which is critical to meeting the unique needs of our varied client base, and the communities in which we operate.
Our IComm values are at the core of how we do business. We are proud of them, because we know that working with these values in mind keeps us at the top of our game, and constantly striving to deliver the best. In fact, we have a quarterly internal award, voted on by our peers, about who best "Walked The Talk" with our IComm values for the quarter.
Parallel to our values, IComm Culture is all about loving the work we do and the people we work with. We foster our culture by never taking ourselves too seriously, and always making time for a laugh. We encourage personal growth, constant learning, and times for social outings that include great big belly laughs. Balance between work and family is key, recharges us, and allows us to give that much more to our valued client relationships.
R & D
As the evolution of IComm progressed, we saw the need to expand our offerings in the realm of video conferencing. And with that expansion, there was also a need to understand what was on the market. To pick it apart, put it back together, and see how it stood up to rigorous testing. Providing our clients with best-in-class service and support has always meant that IComm strives for best-in-class endpoints.
You can rest assured that we have researched and tested the endpoints we sell - and we don't sell them if they don't stand up. All of our partners' products are ones that we stand behind, and that have undergone unspeakable things in "The Lab" here at IComm. Hey, it's one of the funnest part of our jobs - trying to break things!
In order to do the work we do, we are proud that we collectively hold multiple different certifications. These range from individual and company partner certifications with Microsoft, Telstra, Poly and more; to industry certifications, like APMG - Change Management, ITIL, Prince2, etc. We take pride in being held to the highest standards - by our industry, by ourselves, and by our clients. In order to achieve and exceed these standards, we must constantly live to our values, embracing change as the new constant, and always strive to evolve and improve.
With this in mind, in 2015, we decided to pursue ISO certification for Safety.
As part of this process, we attained the AS/NZS 4801 Safety certification in 2016, as well as the international OHSAS 18001 Safety certification in mid 2019. We are confident we will achieve our goal of receiving ISO 45001:2018 Safety certification in 2020.
In addition to working toward ISO 45001, we are also working toward ISO 9001:2015 for Quality. This process was begun in 2019, and again, we are confident we will receive our ISO 9001 Quality certification in the first half of 2020.
