Our Story

Where It All Began

IComm’s story began in 2001, where our focus from a technology viewpoint was Ericsson. Whilst we were awesome at deploying and supporting this technology, two things became very clear:

Firstly, our customers weren’t utilising the technology to its full potential. And secondly, the IT market and associated technology were evolving at an extremely fast pace, meaning if you didn’t move with the times, you would become irrelevant, and quickly!

A Customer-First Approach

So was born our first foray into a practice that focused on customer experience with the technology, and we called it forever training.

This meant that, for the life of the customer, we would actively train them on how to use the technology, and how to use the new functionality that was being developed at breakneck speed.

Fast forward to today, and this remains a major part of our go-to-market approach with our Adopt and Innovate practice, with the desire to make technology easy to use and heavily focused on the user experience. If they can’t use it, we haven’t done our job!

Change the Paint

The second early revelation of technology evolution started a phrase internally that is still used today: “Change the paint.”

We seek out technologies that are going to enhance business lives. Technology evolves so quickly that you must be prepared to pivot, adopt, and change.

Where We Are Now

Our customer innovation hubs in both Melbourne and Sydney showcase the latest technology in an environment that enables users to come, touch, see, and experience what technology can do for them.

We love what we do: doing great work, building client relationships, and making technology feel simple.

A fan of the All Blacks and Collingwood, I believe in the power of passion, teamwork, and growth.

I often remind the team that at IComm, “changing the paint” is part of our DNA, innovation is how we stay in motion.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me on the golf course or court side with Diamond Valley Basketball Association.

As a trainer and change manager, I’m all about helping people grow—whether that’s through technology or personal development.

With a background as a professional musician and tour manager, I’ve travelled the world and learnt the value of connection.

I’m passionate about making tech meaningful, usually with a macchiato in hand and a good (or bad) joke ready to go.

I play a key role in aligning our teams and clients during the pre-sales and delivery process, helping projects run smoothly from start to finish.

My role is all about collaboration, communication, and finding the right solution.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing sports, particularly tennis and golf.
