Some 3 months ago you referred an enquiry from me to IComm Australia Pty Ltd (see reference copies below). I am writing to thank you on behalf of our organisation for that referral and to let you know how impressed we are with the professionalism of this organisation which today commissioned our new Aastra telecommunications system – we have at last entered the 21st Century with ISDN and a user-friendly voicemail!
From the time of my initial discussions with IComm staff I was very aware that I was dealing with “expertise” rather than the “sign here” mentality of the other (non-Telstra) vendors who tendered for the project. I felt that I was getting sound advice that will satisfy our telecommunications needs for many years, not only the immediate requirements of our new Children’s Centre. For a charity that relies heavily on its fundraising and other income generation activities, it is also particularly pleasing to find that IComm and Telstra can now be very cost-competitive against other vendors, particularly considering that we will in due course actually own the equipment. (This was unfortunately not the case 4 years ago when we leased our previous system!)
A system changeover such as this was a fairly daunting prospect for our staff at this time – thfe hours available to maintain normal operations and manage a very significant building project are heavily committed, and we all appreciated the “stress-free” approach of the IComm team that undertook installation work, commissioning and training over the last few days. Several of our staff have commented on their friendly manner and care to avoid interruptions, and those most closely involved with phone operations are feeling very confident that we will enjoy a significantly better level of support than we have had in the past.
I thought that, rather than just convey our appreciation to IComm, I would make these comments to you in the hope that you will pass them on within the Telstra hierarchy and, by copies to those leading the IComm team, extend our thanks to all involved. Again, Greg thanks for the referral.

A positive email that I want to send seeing as I was pretty good and sending out some stinging complaining emails last week.
So, thank you to everyone involved with this process. Arthur and the guys from your Melbourne office did a great job working on Saturday to get us up and running without any problems. I am very grateful for their attention to this job. It meant that things were running smoothly from Monday (not a public holiday here is Victoria). Please pass on my thanks to them. Telstra were also wonderful and the technician came shortly after 8am as promised so everything went very well indeed.
So, after all the drama with making the booking to get the lines in- everything went smoothly. So, again thank you for your help and for making a stressful situation a lot less stressful on the actual day.

Our phone system was rebooting itself every ten to twenty minutes which kept us off line from our clients for most of the morning. I first spoke with a Billy (I have forgotten his last name) who responded very quickly following my call to yourself and kept on ringing back to see how we were going till Cameron came on site to replace the processor. Cameron was very professional and nothing was too much trouble.
